Summary
A quotient whose denominator is a sum with a negative exponential in a term, multiplied
above and below by the positive one: Rubi's(cos(x) + sin(x))/(e^(-x) + sin(x)) is
e^x (cos(x) + sin(x))/(1 + e^x sin(x)) , the logarithmic derivative of
1 + e^x sin(x) .

Remarks
Written with e^(-x) the numerator is the denominator's derivative plus the
denominator, and nothing reads that sum: it was declined. Only where the denominator
holds a function of x besides exponentials, since a rational function of exponentials
is the exponential substitution's; at the question asked, not re-entered, and checked at
sampled points.
