Summary

A function with something other than sums, products and powers in it, of one shifted
linear c + d x alone, written in u = c + d x: Rubi's
F^(a + b/(c + d x)^3)/(c + d x)^19 is F^(a + b/u^3)/(d u^19),
ln(c (d + e/(f + g x)^3)^q) is ln(c (d + e/u^3)^q)/g, and
(e g + f g x)^(p - 1)/ln(d (e + f x)^p) is (g u)^(p - 1)/(f ln(d u^p)).

Remarks

In x, the polynomial term takes the slope out of a power of the linear and writes
(c/d + x)^19 beside the (c + d x)^3 in the exponent, two spellings of one
linear, and the exponential ansatz on that took longer the higher the power -- 24 s at
(c + d x)^16, past the budget at 19 -- for what is 20 ms in u. By parts on the
logarithm leaves a rational function in x of degree six with the symbols in it, where in u
it is 1/(d u^3 + e). Every x stands in a sum linear in it, each sum a constant
multiple of one of them, and either a power of the linear stands below the bar inside a
sum or the linear is written two ways: a function of the linear otherwise -- an
exponential of it, ln(c (d + e x)^n)^p -- is read as written by the rules for it,
and was left so. The algebraic integrands are the rule above's. At the question asked only:
a level down, the polynomial term's own monic spelling `(c/d + x)` beside `c + d x` is two
spellings, and the substitution rewrote answers the chain had given as written. In u the
linear is u itself, and this declines.
