Summary

divisor divided out over the integers, or null where the division leaves a remainder or a coefficient that is not whole.

Remarks

Exactness over Z rather than over Q is the point: this is what every
candidate factor is tested with, and a candidate that only divides over Q is
not a factor of an integer polynomial.
