arcsin(x) = arctan(x/sqrt(1 - x^2)), with 1 - x^2 as (1 - x)(1 + x) so that nothing cancels near the ends: 1 - x is exact for an x of the
context's width. The series it was, in x directly, converges like
x^(2n)/n^(3/2) and took a hundred terms at a hundred digits for an
argument of a third.
