  Summary

  The same polynomial up to a rational factor, with whole coprime coefficients and
  a positive leading one.
  

  Remarks

  A greatest common divisor is only defined up to a unit, and over Q every
  nonzero rational is one, so a representative has to be chosen. This is the one
  that reads the way the answer is usually written: x + y, not
  -x/2 - y/2.

  normalized one over it.
